As April vacation begins, everyone is fully involved in spring pursuits – and some continue to enjoy the bounty of the winter of 2014! We wrapped up the season with a finale potluck and senior send-off last Sunday.
In late March, Jere Linehan and Strafford Nordic Center hosted a relay race in memory of Robin Ellison, former Hanover, Lebanon, and Woodstock high school xc ski coach who passed away earlier in the winter. Participants were encouraged to wear kilts and tams in honor of Robin’s Scottish flair.
Keep an eye on the blog… we hope to post some alum updates during the spring, and before we know it the 2015 season will be underway!
Here are some photos of the final outings/events of the season.

Adam in Robin’s Relay
Adam didn’t know it was Fool’s Race day until he arrived at Trapp – but jumped right into the race in this suit that passed as a costume
The dessert spread at our season finale potluck – including a carrot cake made from an old Ford Sayre recipe and an embellishment of our traditional brownie/fruit/ice cream (we can’t get Strafford i.c. on the road)!
Adam, Sam G, Helen enjoying an early April late afternoon at Oak Hill. Helen graduated last year and skis for Cornell.
Rosalie and Scottie celebrated April Fool’s Day on the Outback (no joke!). Rosalie graduated from JNT in 2009, skied on the Dartmouth team, has been a FS BKL coach for the last several years, and helped out with JNT this year.
